As members of CHRRG, everyone should by now be aware of the Emmi programs made available free of charge. CHRRG has partnered with Emmi Solutions LLC out of Chicago to provide EmmiPrep, EmmiHealth and EmmiKids.

The Emmi programs provide patients with narrated illustrations and graphics that detail each step of the surgery or medical procedure they're scheduled to receive including:

• Your condition
• Before your procedure
• Your procedure
• After your procedure
• Risks and benefits
• Alternatives

Emmi does not replace informed consent. Emmi enhances the informed consent process, reinforces your patient education efforts, reduces call volume and increases patient satisfaction.

The Emmi Client Services Specialists have been working hard the past few weeks meeting with the practice groups to assist them in implementation. The Client Services department will provide the training (by phone, online, or in person) and around-the-clock support. Implementation is simple, no downloads or software installations. You will be given access to EmmiManager, a web-based management system that gives you full access to scheduling, reporting and patient compliance.

The Emmi Client Services Specialists will work with your practice group to customize the Emmi programs in a way that works best for your patient population and practice workflow. The Emmi program can partner with your practice group to integrate Emmi directly into your marketing and promotional activities through the use of co-branded materials, web link and redirecting features.
