CARMEL, Ind.— In an effort to prevent the spread of novel H1N1 influenza and other illnesses, effective today, October 16, 2009, Clarian North Medical Center will begin restricting visitation. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted to visit to the following inpatient units:
Any visitor to the hospital may be screened for signs and symptoms of influenza and other illness prior to admittance.
Visitation restrictions to other units are not being implemented at this time. However, we ask that anyone who is not feeling well please refrain from visiting the hospital.
Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
