BMH Medical Research
Ball Memorial Hospital health care professionals believe the ultimate goal of research is to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of medical care. Since the early 1980s, physicians and staff members have been actively involved in national and international medical research studies, particularly in the areas of oncology, cardiology and coagulation.
The Department of Research was established in 1989 to support and carry out medical research and other community-oriented activities.
