Clarian has partnered with Goodwill
Industries and citywide Career Development
Centers to offer the JobLink pre-employment
program. Case managers at these
centers prescreen and select people
who are disadvantaged due to a lack
of work history, appropriate skills
or resources that enable employment,
but whom they believe would succeed
in the JobLink program
These
case managers coach candidates on
pre-work essentials and communications
training. After this introductory
training, candidates are enrolled
in Environmental Services training
at a Clarian facility. This training
lasts five to seven weeks, and successful
graduates are hired as housekeepers
and patient service assistants.
Upon employment, these new hires
are automatically enrolled in Career
Quest, Clarian's internal staff
development program.
