TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education), which measures your current reading,
writing, language, and math skills; WorkKeys® which measures your current
job skills against the skills that are needed for a particular job.
Basic Skills Training
Refresher courses in reading, writing,
language, or math; customized to meet your needs. Specific needs are determined
by taking the TABE assessment.

where you can investigate career interests and job requirements, get
assistance with resume writing, and more.
Career Quest®
Full range of services for one-on-one career
counseling, mentoring, and guidance in determining career goals. Guides
help define your goals and develop customized plans, called MAPs (My
Advancement Plan).
Certificate Programs
Clarian's offers accredited
certification programs. In addition to meeting national standards in
education, these programs prepare the students to take the national
certification exam(s) that are required to practice in those fields. The
programs offered include:
Full or part-time training for careers;
includes Central Service Technician, Electroneurodiagnostic Technician,
Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician,
Surgical Technologist and more.

Education
For all nurses, physicians, allied health
staff; numerous seminars yearly.
Computer Classes and User Groups
Informatics Education offers more than 20 basic
to advanced classes for all applications in Microsoft Office Suite,
including Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, FrontPage, Publishers,
Project, and Outlook. Periodically the Microsoft team offers these sessions
based on individual topics. The Clinical division of Informatics Education
offers classes for Cerner, MIS, Care Web and non-nursing Phamis.
Core Courses
Basic courses that are the starting point for
further studies: Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Medical Law & Ethics,
Communication Skills, Basic Math for Allied Health Professionals.
Degree-granting Programs
Associates and baccalaureate Allied Health
programs, offered in conjunction with area universities. Includes Medical
Laboratory Science, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Paramedic, Physician
Assistant, Radiation Therapy, Radiography and more. .
English
as a Second Language (ESL)
Basic work-related English instruction for
non-native speakers of English. Includes traditional classroom training as
well as computer-assisted tutorials.
Emergency Cardiac Care Classes
CPR, PALS, NRP, ACLS, AED, and Heartsaver
Facts.
Enrichment Classes
One- to four-hour sessions on more than 60
focused topics; offered to enhance personal and professional growth.
GED
Preparation
Customized tutoring, exercises, and sample
tests for employees who want to earn their GED.
Language Instruction
Short seminars and one-semester courses to help
you communicate more effectively with our Spanish-speaking guests. Includes
an Introduction to Spanish as well as two levels of Medical Spanish.
Leadership Training
Leaders (executives, managers, supervisors,
team leaders, program coordinators, etc.) have the opportunity to learn
practical aspects for team development skills, collaboration, human
resources, financials, and more.
